Brecon Rural neighbourhood policing team

PCSO Emma Jackson

Emma joined Dyfed Powys Police in 2009 as a Public Enquiry Officer at Brecon Police Station. In June 2014 Emma changed roles, and trained as a PCSO. Originally patrolling the Hay-on-Wye, Talgarth and surrounding villages. More recently Emma has moved to Brecon town, with direct responsibility for St Johns ward.

Inspector Gwyndaf Bowen

Originally from Montgomeryshire T/Insp Gwyndaf BOWEN Joined Dyfed Powys police in 2009 and started his service in Brecon.  Following postings in Radnorshire and Armed Response Gwyndaf returned to Breconshire as a Sergeant. He is looking forward to the challenge of working closely with the residents of Breconshire and supporting his officers in providing a first class service.

PCSO Gary Gwilt - Rural Crime Team

Gary Joined Dyfed Powys Police as a Special constable in October 2001 before becoming a PCSO in January 2007. Whilst with Dyfed Powys Police Gary has worked in Newtown (as a Special Constable) and Welshpool and Llanidloes sections (as a PCSO) as part of Neighbourhood Policing in Montgomeryshire. Gary previously had responsibility for delivery of the BoBB Scheme – Behave or Be Banned Scheme, in Welshpool Town, having returned to Welshpool, Gary now covers Welshpool Rural section where he has developed a Farmwatch scheme in order to assist in tackling rural crime.
