Worcestershire based Reaction Theatre Makers will perform Honey at The Courtyard in June.

Honey weaves together the stories of a family in tatters - a tattoo artist, an autistic boy, his mother in the valley, his father away at war, and those that want to love them. Exploring a patchwork of life in the Welsh mountains where bees, bomb disposal and autism are wrapped up in folk music, this play is filled with sweetness richness and depth.

This is not a story of war, but of community and of all those communities that are breaking down. Woven throughout is a quilt, stitched with hopes and dreams and pieced together for the boy with autism who loves to dance. With a beautiful backdrop of specially written folk music, you will feel the richness of the hills and hear the music that fills these hearts.

This play by Tiffany Hosking has been developed for an adult audience but also serves as an ideal introduction for younger people to be introduced to modern theatre.

If you're aged between 14-25, ask at the box office about joining the Courtyard Card scheme for a 10% discount.
