Join the Dinosaur Detectives as they search for clues about the past and bring history to life at The Courtyard on Saturday, Octoer 7.

Dinosaur Detectives is a fascinating journey of discovery, fun and conflict surrounding the first fossil finds of Mary Anning, William Buckland and Gideon Mantell. Their finds changed the face of history when they discovered the bones of creatures that became known as dinosaurs.

Audiences can expect a pre-historic world recreated with rod puppetry, projection and shadow theatre. Suitable for ages five and above, this production is a great way for families to walk in the historic footsteps of dinosaurs and archaeologists.

The Dinosaur Detectives will also be bringing along fossils and dinosaur ‘poo’ to examine after the show, a great way to end the session.

Dinosaur Detectives will be part of Courtyard Family Saturdays and children will be able to go on a treasure hunt to look for bones as a free pre-show activity from 10.30am.

Clydebuilt Puppet Theatre present Dinosaur Detectives will be in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre on Saturday, October 7 at 11am, with a free pre-show activity at 10.30am. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk.
