Music In Quiet Places presents its final concert of the season on Saturday, June 30 at 7pm at St Mary’s Church in Cusop near Hay-on-Wye, with a performance from electric and acoustic harpist, Jemima Phillips.

After graduating from the Royal College of Music and gaining fellowships at Trinity College, London and Royal Schools of Music, Jemima Phillips was appointed official harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales (2004-7). She performed at his wedding to Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and at a reception hosted by HM The Queen for the 2012 Olympic bid and has performed extensively in the UK and abroad.

Understanding the importance of music in people’s lives, Jemima completed an MA in Music Therapy and works within brain injury, child and adult hospices both on the ward and in the community. In addition to her busy performing schedule, Jemima teaches harp in Cheltenham and at a Community Special School.
