ONE of the stars of BBC2’s The Incredible Spice Men, Cyrus Todiwala, will be Dewsall Court’s Supper Club head chef for one night only on Thursday, October 24.

Cyrus runs Mr Todiwala’s Kitchen, the signature restaurant at the Hilton London Heathrow T5 and among many other achievements he also organised and cooked the very first Diamond Jubilee Luncheon for the Queen in London, serving his version of ‘The Country Captain’ – an Indian twist on the traditional shepherd’s pie.

At Dewsall Court Cyrus will take the baton previously held by chefs such as Martin Blunos and Valentine Warner and, in typical Dewsall Supper Club style, will offer a menu designed around local seasonal ingredients, and featuring dishes that restaurants simply don’t have the time to make.

Supper will be complemented by a carefully chosen wine list and Chase Distillery liqueurs.

Guests dine in the opulent, orangery style conservatory and an overnight stay with breakfast is also available. To make a reservation and for further information, visit dewsall.com/supper-club.

  • This year, Dewsall Court is offering a glamorous alternative to the traditional Christmas party, with a Scandinavian-themed evening of fire, ice, great food and dancing in the Wainhouse.

Fur, Fire and Ice parties can be booked for private parties, for 35 to 140 guests, or ‘joiner’ parties with tables of up to 19.

As guests arrive the driveway will be lined with fire torches leading partygoers to the Wainhouse, which will be decorated in Scandinavian style with a burning log fire and a multitude of candles. Dress code will be ‘furs and woollies’.
