WHEN Angharad Warren moved from London to Rosson- Wye three years ago, she looked for a naturally made breakfast cereal, but when she couldn’t find one she decided to make her own.

Angharad’s Wye Valley Granola is truly local, with all the ingredients sourced within 45 miles.

The organic apple juice is from Whitethorn Farm in Carey, a family run business just outside Ross , and the extra virgin rapeseed oil used is Brockmanton’s, bottled at source by Ryan Price on his family farm in Pudleston, Leominster.

Once harvested the rape seed is pressed and bottled on the farm ensuring the best possible quality oil. This is Ryan’s first year in production of cold pressed rapeseed oil and he has been attending the farmers’ markets in Herefordshire since February, and will be at local food festivals including Ludlow and the Flavours of Herefordshire.

Both Angharad and Ryan attend Herefordshire Farmers’ Markets - you can buy Wye Valley Granola every Thursday at the Hereford Farmers Market, and Ryan sells his rapeseed oil at the Leominster, Hereford Saturday and Ross-on- Wye Farmers’ markets.
