THE Miniatura Exhibition is back at the NEC on October 3 to 4, celebrating the fascinating hobby of miniature house collecting, making and modelling.

Thousands of people across the UK, and indeed across the world, regularly dedicate their time and skills to create incredible miniature model homes and interiors that perfectly replicate the full size article. Furniture from medieval through to modern day are created to look brilliantly realistic. The materials used are of superior quality thus creating breathtaking items.

A house can be furnished with every imaginable item from miniature pattern wallpaper and fabrics to perfectly small light fittings and 12th scale furniture.

Miniature doll makers breathe life into any interior scene with hand sculpted dolls wearing hand sewn clothes using the finest materials to replicate all sides of life – from cherubic children to aristocratic elderly inebriates… many with a humorous twist!

Exhibitors at Miniatura at The NEC display some of the highest quality miniatures to be found anywhere in the world.

Many make one-off pieces specifically for the event and a number of world records have been made at the show, including the world’s smallest teddy bear that now has a home in A World of Miniature Museum.
