THE Dean of Hereford, the Very Rev Michael Tavinor, will be introducing some of the 366 characters featured in his recently published book, Saints and Sinners of the Marches , in words and music at 7.30pm on Saturday, August 11 at St Catherine’s Church, Hoarwithy.
Last year the dean delighted an audience at Orcop with his witty sketches in poetry and prose, and an entertaining evening is assured.
There will be wine and nibbles in the interval and the dean will sign copies of the book, featuring illustrations by Sandy Elliot, afterwards.
Tickets are £10 including wine (under-18s free), available from Rossiter Books in Ross -on-Wye and The New Harp Inn, Hoarwithy.
