ARTIST, illustrator and bird lover Matt Sewell will be at Rossiter Books in Ross-on-Wye for a ‘live’ drawing class, in which he'll be passing on top tips and talking about his feathered friends.
Matt’s books are delightful guides to the birds of the UK - Our Songbirds features 55 British birds - in Matt’s world, the peewit sings the blues, and the bittern fills his neck ‘like a tweed pair of bellows’.
He is an avid ornithologist, regular contributor to the Caught By The River website and author of the bestselling books Our Garden Birds and Our Songbirds. He has illustrated for The Guardian, The V&A, Levis, painted walls for Helly Hansen, Puma and the RSPB and exhibited in London, Manchester, Tokyo and Paris.
Matt Sewell will be at Rossiter Books in Ross on Friday, February 7 at 7pm.
