Join Taking Flight Theatre Company with The Riverfront and Chapter for an accessible performance of Peeling at The Courtyard this October.

Often blisteringly funny, at times almost unbearably painful; Peeling takes audiences backstage into a world of stories, secrets and to a place where fierce, intelligent women are always the chorus and never the lead.

Taking Flight Theatre aim to break down barriers to the theatre and take risks in pushing the boundaries of creative access. They challenge perceptions of disability and place deaf and disabled creatives firmly centre stage. In addition, they run inclusive professional training courses and mentoring schemes for people who identify as deaf or disabled and are looking to take the next step into a career in theatre.

Peeling features interwoven British Sign Language, live audio description and captions. There will also be a free post-show BSL Q&A with the cast and creative team.

The production is recommended for ages 14+.

Peeling will be in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre on Thursday, October 3 at 7.45pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
