The Clint Bradley Band will be bringing their pure Western Music to The Old School Community Hub in New Radnor on Sunday, September 8. In a rare Mid-Wales appearance, the band will be mixing original songs from their two acclaimed albums with classic Marty Robbins gunfighter ballads and older songs from the golden era of cowboy music. With Clint’s stunning voice leading a four-piece line-up of acoustic guitars, mandolin, double bass and percussion, they capture those classic sounds with authenticity and soulfulness.
After a long and successful career, most notably as leader of British rockabilly legends The Blue Cats, Clint was finally able to make his first pure western album in 2014. Riding After Midnight was universally acclaimed and even nominated for an award by the USA-based Western Music Association. Earlier this year, ‘Soul Of The West’ was released to similarly enthusiastic reviews and for the last few months the band - Clint Bradley (vocals/guitar), Connie Everard (double bass/vocals), Dan Kelly (percussion) and Dave Luke (guitar/mandolin/vocals) – have been touring the UK in between trips to Ireland and Finland.
The Clint Bradley Band will be at The Old School Community Hub, School Lane, New Radnor on Sunday at 8pm. Tickets can be purchased from the Hub itself, from The Workhouse in Presteigne, or by calling or texting 07870 752325
