PUPILS got the chance to see what their school looked like at night after a special sleepover was arranged.

Earlier in the term, a pupil at Bridstow CE Primary School suggested the sleepover when they found out they were learning about nature and nocturnal animals.

The headteacher agreed to the activity after persuasive letters were penned by pupils.

The children in class 2 spent the evening setting up track traps by leaving food out for animals next to damp sand.

They then went inside for hot dogs and hot chocolate before sleeping at the school.

In the morning they discovered all the food had gone at the track traps and there were footprints left for the children to examine.

The staff and children both enjoyed the experience.
