AS host to the UKMT Team Maths challenge regional final, Leominster's Earl Mortimer College had to put on a good show.
And so it did, to be the best placed comprehensive school in the county.
But it was Hereford Cathedral School that went forward to London and the national finals in June.
The event was run by Dr. Peter Neumann O.B.E of The Queen’s College, Oxford and competition was fierce as more than 20 schools from all over the region went head-to-head in the Group Round, Crossnumber, Shuttle and Relay events.
