JOHN Beddoes Campus of Newtown High School in Presteigne will celebrate the 450th Anniversary of John Beddoes bequeathing money to support the education of young people in Presteigne and the surrounding area.
The school will be marking this event on May 9 by hosting a day of celebration, with activities including food, live music from staff and pupils, past present and future, and a historical display of photographs, exercise books and admission registers.
Everyone is welcome to come and share their memories and join in to celebrate this historic milestone.
The school is hoping to display as many memories as possible and would welcome any archive material or memorabilia (such as photos or school uniform) that people feel they are able to lend the school for display.
