Notice of intention to carryout works on common land -Broadmoor Common Woolhope Herefordshire.

Mr Steven Horne has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Broadmoor Common.
The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. The proposed works are:
(i) Formation of an unsealed stone surface to the existing track extending approx. 75m long from the highway to the redundant chapel now with consent for change of use to a 1 bedroom dwelling.

(ii) Formation of a small pad (concrete) at the highway to track junction approx. 3m long extending back from road kerb side.

(iii) Installation of a pre-manufactured below ground micro domestic sewage plant details of which have been submitted to and agreed by Environment Agency and Herefordshire Council's Ecologist.

The works will be located in the south section of the common where a track currently exists with an existing connection to the highway and which is sufficient in width not requiring enlargement. The removal of trees and hedges is not necessary and no adverse effect on the environment will result from the works.
A copy of the application form and accompanying documents showing the proposed works can be inspected at Brandon Lodge, Ross Road Hereford HR2 8BH between normal office hours until the 31 st May 2018. A copy of the application form and accompanying documents may be obtained from the same address.
Any representations should be sent in writing ON or BEFORE that date to the Planning Inspectorate, Commons Team 3F Temple Quay House, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6PN or commonlandcasework@pins.gsi.gov.uk. Letters sent to the Planning Inspectorate cannot be treated as confidential. They will be copied to the applicant and possibly to other interested parties.
