The Electricity (Applications for Consent) Regulations 1990: Regulation 5 - Publication of Notice of Application for Consent under Section 37 of the Electricity Act 1989
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a application is being made by Western Power Distribution (West Midlands) pic to the Secretary of State at the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy under Section 37 of the Electricity Act 1989, for their consent to divert the overhead line to a repositioned terminal tower AA1- 181 at Hereford Grid Substation, Clay Hill Pitch, Dormington, Hereford HR1 4ER. (357656,239671)
The proposed overhead line diversion and relocation of steel lattice tower is to facilitate the expansion of the electricity distribution substation. Full planning permission has been submitted for the substation extension under Application 210525.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, plans of the proposals cannot be deposited for public inspection however; they can be viewed and downloaded from the following website:

Any such objections or representations will be copied to the relevant planning authorities and the applicant unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so copied. If there is such a request then the relevant planning authorities and the applicant will only be informed that an objection has been made but no details will be forwarded to them.
