NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U65431, Firs Orchard, Bromyard, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U65431, Firs Orchard, Bromyard, from the junction of Old Road to the junction of Firs Lane. Grid Ref: 364957/254595. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Firs Orchard onto Winlslow Road, onto the A44, onto Old Road and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to underground BT cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th of March 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 nights.
