NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U82009, Golden Post, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U82009, Golden Post, Hereford, from the junction of Beattie Avenue for approximately 50m west. Grid Ref: 349879 / 238635. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Beattie Avenue onto Golden Post and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to private drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1 st of March 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.
