NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U65018, Norton Lane To A44, Whitbourne, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U65018, Norton Lane To A44, Whitbourne, at Crumplebury. Grid Ref: 369524/256675. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via U65018 onto A44, U65030 and then onto B4203 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new passing bay construction works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th of March 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 8 days.
