NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1261, Hoarwithy Road, Hoarwithy, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1261, Hoarwithy Road, Hoarwithy, outside Tarrystone House. Grid Ref: 354644/229564. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via C1261 onto Holme Lacy Road, A49 and onto C1262 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new supply connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of April 2020 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 days .
