PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2020 [Prohibition of Waiting on B4211 Church End Lane, Bowling Green and Quay Lane, Hanley Castle] On 9 January 2020 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Malvern:-

B4211 (south west side) from its junction with Church End Lane for a distance of 15 metres in a north westerly direction and 25 metres in a south easterly direction; (west side) from its junction with Bowling Green for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction and 10 metres in a southerly direction; (east side) from its junction with Quay Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

Church End Lane (north west side) from its junction with B4211 for a distance of 30 metres in a south westerly direction; (south east side) from its junction with B4211 for a distance of 41.7 metres in a south westerly direction.

Bowling Green (north west side) from its junction with B4211 for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction; (south east side) from its junction with B4211 for a distance of 16 metres in a westerly direction.

Quay Lane (north side) from its junction with B4211 for a distance of 22.2 metres in an easterly direction; (south side) from itsjunction with B4211 foradistance of 21.8 metres in an easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 23 January

2020

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern WR14 3AF and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Courtwithin 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Footpath RP-548, Ripple)(Temporary Closure)

Order 2019

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 4 July 2019 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath RP-548, Ripple for its entire length, which was due to expire on 18 January2020hasbeen continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 18 July 2020 whichever issooner. Anyfurtherextension will require the approval of the Secretary of State. The Order has been made due to an eroded footpath and river bank.

Alternative route is via Footpath RP-546, U60402 Uckinghall Road, U60400 Bow Lane and Footpath RP-549 and vice versa.
