Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(A4440 Whittington Road, Whittington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020 Proposed Order: to close that part of A4440 Whittington Road from its junction with A4440 Crookbarrow Way Roundabout to its junction with A4440 Swinesherd Way Roundabout

Reason: overhead network fibre cabling and jointing works for a new customer connection.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A4440 Crookbarrow Way, A4440 Broomhall Way, A38 Worcester Road, A38 Bath Road, A38 Commandery Road, A44 Sidbury, A44 London Road, A44 Red Hill Roundabout, A44 Whittington Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 12 February 2020.

(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2020 [Prohibition of Waiting and Disabled Persons' Parking Place on Ombersley Road, Beckett Drive, Cornmeadow Lane and St Anne's Road, Worcester] On 2 January 2020 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect ofwhich will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester: -

Ombersley Road (east side) from its junction with Cormeadow Lane for a distance of 11.5 metres in a southerly direction; (west side) from its junction with Beckett Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction. Cornmeadow Lane (both sides) from its junction with Ombersley Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction. St Anne's Road (north side) from a point 9.7 metres east of its junction with Cornmeadow Lane for a distance of 19 metres in an easterly direction; (south side) from a point 9.7 metres eastofits junction with Cornmeadow Lane for a distance of 7 metres in an easterly direction. Beckett Drive (both sides) from its junction with Ombersley Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.

Create a Disabled Person's Parking Place:

St Anne's Road (south side) from a point 16.7 metres east of its junction with Cornmeadow Lane for a distance of 6.6 metres in an easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 23 January 2020.

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement ofReasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester WR1 3PB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.

The validityofthe Council's powers in makingthe Order or this exercise ofthem may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Fort Royal Hill, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020

Order Made: to close that part of Fort Royal Hill from its junction with C2290 Wylds

Lane to its junction with A44 London Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction works.

Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2290 Wylds Lane, B4205 Wylds Lane, A44 London Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 33 days Commencing: 20 January 2020.

(Northfield Street, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2020

Proposed Order: to close that part of Northfield Street from its junction with

Junction with C2294 Sansome Walk to its junction with Junction with U50106

Washington Street.

Reason: Footway Reconstruction.

Exemptions: to permitaccess to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative routes: Diversion One (Eastbound) - C2294 Sansome Walk, C2294

Chestnut Walk, U50112 Chestnut Street (One Way), U50112 Lower Chestnut Street (One Way) and U50106 Little Chestnut Street.

Diversion Two (Westbound) - U50106 Washington Street, U50103 Southfield Street and U50102 Little Southfield Street.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing: 10 February 2020.
