I was in the same class as Rob for nine years, from St Owen's and into the old High School. Really nice guy and great sportsman. Used to love watching him pick the England team when we were supposed to be doing maths. Long after we left school he always stopped for a chat when we bumped into each other in town. Terrible tragedy that he died so young -- but fondly remembered by his old classmates. Dave Gilbert.
