Jeff is my Brother a true gentleman .
A caring father to Christopher, and Lynsey who was always interested in their progress. Harvey his grandson held a special place in his heart and as Jeff said not being around to watch his progress was a bit of a bummer.
We used to speak each Sunday and Wednesday by phone for an hour each time now I twiddle my thumbs . We would bounce conversations off each other as mates do. Jeff helped me out in approaching things I would come up against in my work as a health and safety officer to get things right we were passionate to ensure that people would take on board things which were said in tool box talks so they would arrive home safely at the end of each shift. To own up if Jeff had 51 funny stories Dad probably told him 25 of them and me a few to. All the right notes but not necessarily in the right order ..Mr Preview... We shared an interest in fresh water fish and he used to say he was going to spend an afternoon at the office which was his favourite lake . I am glad Jeff was my brother he had my respect and love. I'm sure a lot of people will miss him .I will miss you Jeff. God speed .xx ps. I forgot to say the other day, thank you for your service.

Sad news, I did karate with Jeff at Hinton youth club under Tom Beardsley, myself, Jeff and several others started together and moved through the ranks together, good times and great memories, bumped into Jeff several times over the years since those days and always had a laugh, I will remember Jeff with a smile.

Lynsey and Christopher, lovely to see you on Thursday shame it was on such a sad occasion!
Many, many memories of your Dad. Once not long after he bought Sandown Drive Don went back with him to see the new house. Your Dad put Acker Bilk (look him up) on the turntable, they lay down on the cream shag-pile (ask your Mum) and both fell asleep!!
Your Dad was also the one Don was with the first time I met him, cheers Jeff !!
I remember laughing on his and your Mum's wedding day, he was at our house, and insisted Don and I check him out in his suit, to make sure he looked alright from the back!!!! All bases covered!
Much loved and he'll be much missed. RIP Jeff. Love to you both too xx
