THURGOOD Joan Margaret Of Stoke Prior. Died peacefully on 6th September 2021, aged 90 years. The Funeral Service will take place at Leominster Priory Church on Friday 1st October at 10.30am. The family are having a private Committal Service at a later time. Flowers are welcome. Donations can be made for West Eaton's Activity Programme (Chq's payable to Heritage Manor Ltd). I remember this lovely lady when my grandchildren were christened at the Priory, Leominster. She attended every christening in the church, handing out bibles and candles she had funded herself. Joan had such a serene, benevolent look about her, a human being with such a gentle, thoughtful nature, such goodness. I last saw her in a supermarket a year before she died. I was pleased I had the opportunity to say hello and introduce myself, thanking her for the kindness she showed not only my grandchildren but so many other children too. RIP a lovely human being.
