ALLISON John Grant It is with deep sorrow we announce Captain John 'Super Jock' Grant Allison, retired British Army officer who served his 28 year military career in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, 22 SAS and SOF passed away peacefully on August 22nd 2021. He was in hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, his wife and children by his side. Beloved Husband, Brother, Father, Uncle, Grandfather and Friend, he will be dearly missed. Family only service October 16th, in Napa, CA, due to COVID restrictions. Memorial service in Scotland, Spring 2022, details to follow.

Sad to hear this news . You won’t know me but John was a friend in Hereford in 1970s . So sorry I am late in sending this message , a chance series of events led me to the announcement. My sincere condolences to all John’s family . I mourn his loss along with my husband who passed away earlier last year. Denise. March 2022
