DAVID HENRY DUGGAN of Painscastle, accountant in Hay. Passed away suddenly at Hereford County Hospital on September 14th 2020, aged 61. Beloved father of Calvin, son of Grace, and husband to Vivienne. A much-loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle, and a dear and loyal friend to many. David was a passionate soloist and chorister with Talgarth Male Choir and CMeibion De Cymru. He was also vice Chairman of the Welsh Association of Male Choirs. David was active and well-regarded in the Masonic community. A member of Arrow and Dean Leigh Masters' Lodges, Arrow Chapter, Loyal Hay Chapter and Gloucestershire and Herefordshire Chapter of First Principals, he had recently been appointed Grand Steward. David served as treasurer for many of the organisations he belonged to. Many others will know him from the golf course or the dart board. The Funeral Service will take place on October 1st, 15:00 at Hereford Crematorium. Due to current restrictions, attendance in the chapel is restricted to close friends and family by prior invitation. For those wishing to pay their respects, the Funeral procession will pass through Hay-on-Wye, leaving the main car park at approximately 13:45, heading towards David's office on Castle street and then on to Hereford. Those who wish to pay their respects are asked to do safely, adhering to all current government guidelines. The service will also be broadcast online via live stream. Interment of ashes will follow at a later date, as will a proper celebration of David's life once circumstances allow. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Wales Kidney Research Unit.
