THE REVEREND PETER HACKETT Went home to be with the Lord on 16th May 2020, aged 95 years. Dearly loved husband of Glenys. Cherished Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. A Memorial Service will be held at St Martins Church, Hereford, at a later date. Any enquiries to Abbotsfield Funeral Directors.

Sad to see Peter's passing. He was our vicar at Stamford Bishop and Linley Green, also covering Acton Beauchamp and Evesbatch. He and Glynys guided me through Confirmation by Mark Hereford and helped in lots of ways in my early teens. He took a group of us to London for a few days holiday and he really went out of his way to make sure everyone got the most out of this treat. Many happy memories of the extended family at the vicarage including Bobby and all the others.
