Australia international Harry Kewell has signed a deal with Galatasaray and will play with the Turkish champions for the next three years.
The 29-year-old turned down a contract offer with Liverpool in May and entered the current transfer window as a free agent, with many clubs across Europe chasing his services.
Kewell was reported to be heading to Celtic, Italy`s Roma or Premier League side Portsmouth, but Galatasaray swooped first.
The signing was confirmed on Galatasaray's official website and the deal will keep Kewell with the Turkish powerhouse until at least the completion of the 2010/11 season.
