England opener Alastair Cook reached his half-century on the third morning of the first Test against New Zealand at Lord's today.
Cook resumed on 43 after a rain-delayed start and reached the landmark with a back-foot cover drive for four off the bowling of Kyle Mills.
England had progressed to 89 without loss - replying to Zealand's first-innings total of 277 - when the players were forced off due to the weather.
