Ellen set to wed girlfriend Portia

Ellen DeGeneres has announced that she plans to marry her long term girlfriend, actress Portia de Rossi.
Usmagazine.com reports that Ellen made the announcement on her talk show, which followed the news that California's Supreme Court overturned a ban on gay marriage.
"It's something that we've wanted to do and we want it to be legal and we are very, very excited," Ellen told the audience who cheered wildly and gave her a standing ovation.
Portia, 35, was in the audience when Ellen, 50, broke the news. The pair began dating in 2004 while Portia was filming sitcom Arrested Development.
"I feel like I found my perfect fit," Ellen told the Advocate magazine last year about her relationship with the actress. "She's taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I've taught her. We've both changed and grown, and we just feel like, 'Oh, okay, this is completion.' "
