Sarah Jessica Parker has denied rumours that she did not get on with her co-stars in the Sex And The City film.
Her insistence follows reports earlier this week suggesting that the 43-year-old actress does not speak to Kim Cattrall and they go to great lengths to avoid each other.
It was even suggested that Cattrall, who plays the uninhibited Samantha Jones in the show, refused to sit through the screening of the premiere in London's Leicester Square with the other actresses and at a party on Sunday night had been dropped off at a different entrance.
But during an interview to Friday Night's Jonathan Ross, Parker insisted she "loved those women".
She said: "I wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else. We are family, there would be no reason to do it otherwise.
"I'm so proud of the work the other ladies have done, I think they're marvellous."
Rumours of the on-set rift between the two actresses are thought to have centred on the differing amounts of money they were paid during the film. The stars' publicists have insisted there was no disagreement and that they all get on.
During her interview with Jonathan Ross, Parker also revealed that the Sex And The City film almost failed to get off the ground.
She added: "There was no script, there was an idea. When it didn't happen, we all went on... Two years ago I had this instinct we should revisit the idea. Our audience grew after we went off-air so the audience created the opportunity."
The Hollywood film followed the success of the highly popular television series set in New York, which ended four years ago.
