The ultimate in New York glamour descends on Britain, with the hotly-anticipated movie premiere of Sex And The City.
Fabulous foursome Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon will don their most glamorous outfits to strut their stuff down the red carpet.
The original television series followed the love lives of four professional women in New York, against a background of high fashion and shoes galore - particularly Manolo Blahniks.
The film finds friends Carrie (Parker), Samantha, (Cattrall), Charlotte (Davis) and Miranda (Nixon) continuing to juggle work and relationships, while navigating motherhood.
Chris Noth reprises his role as Carrie's Mr Big, David Eigenberg is Miranda's down-to-earth husband Steve, Evan Handler plays Charlotte's dependable husband Harry, and Jason Lewis makes a showing as actor Smith - Samantha's devoted lover.
When pressed to give some clue as to the film's content, Parker said it was "about forgiveness and pursuing love in a way that is real and meaningful".
Also co-starring are Candice Bergen as Vogue magazine editor Enid Frick and Academy Award-winning Jennifer Hudson as Carrie's young assistant Louise.
Mario Cantone plays Anthony, Charlotte's opinionated wedding planner and Willie Garson makes an appearance as Carrie's pal Stanford.
The series was based on semi-autobiographical columns written by Candace Bushnell for the New York Observer.
The premiere in London's Leicester Square is followed by the film's UK release on May 28.

THE internationally renowned identical twin sisters Antoinette and Claire Cann will be performing a sparkling programme of piano duets at St John the Baptist Church, Aymestrey, near Leominster on Saturday, May 24, at 7.30pm. Antoinette and Claire first played the piano when they were three years old, picking out tunes on the family piano. “The first thing we picked out was the theme to Listen with Mother.” Starting lessons was apparently the only time the pair were at odds about their playing. “Toni was very keen to go,” says Claire. “But at the time, Claire was shy,” adds Antoinette.
