ESO is promoting an ELGAR FESTIVAL in WORCESTER on May 31st - June 2nd, 2012
A 3 day festival celebrating the life and music of Edward Elgar during the weekend of his birthday (2nd June). This is a Worcestershire event, featuring Worcester-based choirs, conductor and orchestra, and forms part of the City's celebrations leading up to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee General manager Peter Sheeran Artists we also like English Symphony Orchestra, Elgar Chorale, Worcester Festival Choral Society ESO, in partnership with the Elgar Foundation, is promoting an Elgar Festival in Worcester over the course of the Elgar "birthday" weekend, which leads up to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on the Monday, June 4th.
The Festival box office will open on February 1st, when a festival brochure will also be produced. Priority booking for Festival Passes allowing access to all the main concerts has been made available to ESO Friends and members of the Elgar Society. These passes will be issued at the end of January, after which they will be available to everyone.
