A SPECTACULAR strike from Craig Jones gave title-chasing Westfields a battling 2-1 home win over visiting Bridgnorth Town at allpay.park last night.
Jones fired home the winner after the break to move Westfields to within one point of Midland Alliance table-toppers Coventry Sphinx.
It was a resilient display from the Hereford club, who fell behind in the 15th minute when Carl Griffiths scored a penalty after an Anthony Robbins foul.
But Robbins redeemed himself three minutes before the interval, scoring from the penalty-spot after a Bridgnorth defender had handled the ball.
