Westfields beat Bridgnorth to keep up pressure on Coventry Sphinx

WESTFIELDS have moved into closer order at the top of the Midland Alliance table after a 2-1 home win over Bridgnorth Town on Tuesday night.

Goals from Anthony Robbins and Craig Jones secured the win which leaves second-placed Westfields just a point behind leaders Coventry Sphinx with a game in hand.

Sphinx, who meet basement club Alvechurch this Saturday, visit allpay.park on February 25 for a crucial clash.
