Dale Withers headed over Simon Pitt’s cross but Stone hit back and opened up a 2-0 advantage.
Boss Derek Williams threw Chris Palmer into the fray and he promptly scored his maiden goal for Wellington.

Pegasus Juniors 1 Bewdley Town 1 DEBUTANT Kane Kahaki bagged a late leveller for Pegasus in an exciting FA Cup extra preliminary round clash.
The former Lads Club player struck in the 80th minute, driving a low shot past former K i d d e r m i n s t e r Harriers goalkeeper Darren Steadman, who got a hand to the ball.
However, it needed a brave block from Zac Brimble, who threw himself into the path of a goal-bound shot, to prevent Bewdley from snatching a last-gasp win.
Bewdley took the lead in the 20th minute when Rich Godfrey’s right-wing cross was fired home by Rich Burgess.
Pegasus almost drew level seven minutes before the break when Ashley Day and Mike Hyde set up a chance for Dan Herbert, whose shot was superbly saved by Steadman.
With the interval approaching, Pegasus goalkeeper Jon Pugh made a fine one-handed stop to keep out Chris Seekings’ curling effort.
Pegasus worked hard after the break and, with time running out, Joe Lamar forced a corner kick. The ball was half cleared to Kahaki who thumped a shot into the net.
