A BRACE from Daryl Addis led in-form Westfields to an excellent 3-1 win at Alvechurch in the Aspire Midland Alliance.
The quick-fire league double over Alvechurch has lifted Westfields to fifth in the table.
Addis put Westfields ahead in the 50th minute of Tuesday night’s clash after racing on to a Richard Kear through-ball.
Mark Davis bagged Westfields’ second goal before Neil Barnfield replied for Alvechurch. Addis restored the Hereford club’s two-goal cushion which sealed their fifth successive league win.
Wellington fought back from 3-1 down at half time to claim a point from a 3-3 home draw with Lye Town in the West Midlands League Premier Division. Andy Price (2) and Dale Withers scored the goals for Wellington.
Pegasus Juniors were held to a 1-1 draw by Shrivenham at Old School Lane in the Hellenic League Premier Division.
