A CRAIG-Jones inspired Westfields came from 4-0 down last night to dramatically beat Kidsgrove Athletic 6-5 after extra-time in an epic Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round replay.

The Hereford side looked down and out, but showed fantastic endeavour to go through to the First Qualifying Round where they will face Barwell.

Kidsgrove - who play in Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One South - stormed into a 3-0 lead inside the first 15 minutes through Ross Daivdson, Andrew Kinsey and Anthony Malabon.

Malabon then converted a penalty just before half-time to put the home side in a commanding 4-0 lead.

But Westfields were a completely different side after the break and pulled a goal back through Matt Reeve after 62 minutes before Jamie Cuss headed home 11 minutes later.

Jones - who performed excellently against Hereford on Monday - further reduced the deficit when he scored from the penalty spot after Ekene Amadi was brought down.

And, incredibly, he levelled the game with a rasping free-kick with two minutes to go to take the game into extra-time.

Kidsgrove went back in front with a far post effort from Kinsey but Westfields were level again through another Jones free-kick.

The comeback was then complete when Cuss, chasing a back-pass, was brought down by Kidsgrove goalkeeper Ben Chapman.

The keeper was duly sent off and Jones converted the spot-kick to put Westfields ahead for the first time.

Sean Edwards' side then held on to win the game and go through to the next round.

Westfields, who have played three games in the past week, have another cup game this Saturday when they entertain Atherstone Town in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase.
