Westfields are one game away from Walsall
A TOM Bendall goal has given Westfields the advantage in the Midlands Premier Division League Cup semi-final.
The Hereford side travelled to Long Eaton last night and recorded a 1-0 victory.
The two sides play the second leg at allpay park on March 31 when a draw will be enough to take Westfields to the final at Walsall FC's Bescot Stadium.
Bendall's volley in the 10th minute was his first for Westfields' first team.
