Former Westfields striker Dan MacDonald, ex-Aston Villa trainee, joins Welsh Premier Carmarthen Town

FORMER Westfields player Dan MacDonald has joined Welsh Premier side Carmarthen Town.

MacDonald, a former Aston Villa trainee, has joined the Old Gold on loan after attracting the attention of Newport County, Llanelli and Afan Lido.

The ex-England under-16 player is the Welsh League’s leading marksman this term after hitting 34 goals for Division Two table-toppers Monmouth Town.
