WESTFIELDS warmed up for this weekend’s FA Carlsberg Vase thirdround clash with a 4-1 win over struggling Willenhall Town.

The Hereford club host n o r t h - e a s t e r n e r s Billingham Synthonia at allpay.park on Saturday.

“We are now ready for Billingham and we have a great incentive because the winners will have a home fourthround tie against Tadcaster Albion,” said Westfields’ chief executive Andy Morris.

Westfields’ tie with Billingham has been postponed three times owing to bad weather.

The match starts at 3pm and there will be extratime if needed.

Richard Kear struck twice and Daryl Addis helped to set up three of Westfields’ goals in Monday’s Midland Alliance victory over Willenhall.

Mitch Fellows put bott o m - o f - t h e - t a b l e Willenhall ahead in the 17th minute but Jamie Cuss levelled before the interval.

Carl Morgan squeezed home Westfields’ second goal from a tight angle and then Kear scored the hosts’ third from the penalty spot after Addis had been fouled.

Westfields sealed their 12th league win of the campaign when Sam Harrison and Addis combined for Kear to score the hosts’ fourth.
