Former Hereford United loanee Mark Marshall fails drugs test

FORMER Hereford United loanee Mark Marshall has been provisonally suspended from football after taking a prohibitive substance.

The 24-year-old - who played eight times for Hereford during the 2009/10 season - tested positive following his current club Barnet's game against Dagenham on Boxing Day and has consequently missed the Bees' last two games.

Barnet have reported that, in mitigation, Marshall said that he unwittingly took the banned substance in a supplement.
