Roberts was denied in injury time when Tokarczyk dived to turn away his powerful 25-yarder.

Traore shoots high over on 88 minutes as Hereford go after a late winner.

On 77 minutes, Hereford are level with a wonder goal from Salvador Ramirez, who powers in a drive from the right which ends up in the top left-hand corner

At the other end, Takarczyk makes a fine save to deny Gilroy. Roberts puts the rebound into the net but is ruled offside.

Williams comes to Hereford’s rescue again on 71 minutes, saving well after Bossman breaks into the area and drills in a low drive.

A fizzing shot from Bailey flashes just wide on 65 minutes.

Bossman misses a great chance for Arlesey arriving unmarked at the back post to meet Dean Mason’s cross but heading wide.

Oyibo  misses a great chance to level immediately, ghosting into the area but driving wide.

Arlesey take the lead on 55 minutes. Substitute Kameron English makes an immediate impact, driving in a low cross from the left which is guided in by Bossman.

A fortunate bounce sends Diop away with the ball eventually put out for a corner.

Brad-Lee Gascoigne meets Roberts’ cross and the ball goes wide of the target.

A mistake by Gough at the start of the second period gives Kone the chance to break away. He slips a pass to Steve Veiter who shoots into the side-netting.

But, as time runs down, a cross by Bailey picks out the unmarked Bossman at the far post only for the home striker to direct his header over the bar.

Hereford miss a great chance just before the break when Kone tricks his way into the area but sees his shot saved by Tokarczyk.

The rebound flies in the air but Diop and Onyeike get in each other’s way.

Hereford have a chance five minutes before the break when Kone drags the ball back from the right but Sam Bobes-Gilroy drags his effort wide.

Williams dives to push away well when Kelvin Bossman curls one around the defensive wall.

But the Hereford keeper is in the book moments later for handling the ball outside his area.

Stefan Bailey tries his luck for Arlesey from 20 yards but Luke Williams dives to field the shot.

On 16 minutes, Hallelujah Basmel gets inside Oby Onyeike but drives his shot wide from a good position.

Corner to Arlesey on 14 minutes – but a foul by Mitch Gough ends the chance.

Andy Lonsdale is the sole representative of the United hierarchy in the directors' box today.

Hereford win a corner on 10 minutes but Daniel O’Reilly cross is cleared.

HEREFORD are making their first ever trip to Arlesey, which is near Hitchin and reasonably close to Luton.

The sides have met once before, in an FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie at Edgar Street on 2002 when a Paul Parry goal settled a tight game in United’s favour.

With 18 booked on the supporters’ coach to travel, the team have shared the transport with fans and players all arriving together in a cost-saving measure for both parties.

It’s a fast-paced start from both sides but Abon Bakar Kone drives in the first real shot after six minutes, drawing a low save from Alex Tokarczyk.
