Eubanks shoots wide for Hereford as the game enters stoppage time.


Three minutes from time, Hill pulls off a good save to prevent Yafai from putting the result beyond doubt.


Banbury keep creating and missing chances with Abrahams heading over when it looked easier to score.


As Hereford go after a second, Hill saves well when Akinde rushes through.


Strafford misses a great chance for Banbury on 82 minutes, shaking off Morrison making space in the area only to shoot wide of the gaping goal.


It’s almost two six minutes later when Lewars breaks into the area but Hill comes out to challenge bravely at his feet.


Hereford take the lead on 62 minutes. Roberts surges away from the defence down the right and crosses for Eubanks to control and shoot home.


Hereford respond with a strong run by Yafai who bursts pace a couple of defender and ino the area but shoots at Hill.

On 58 minutes, Roberts misses the chance of the match when he powers into the area, rounds the keeper and shoots wide.


On 53 minutes, Murombedzi misses a great chance for Banbury, spinning away from a defender and into the area, only to shoot straight at Williams.


At the start of the second period, Banbury keeper Hill has to be quick off his line to deny Eubanks.


On the stroke of half-time, Banbury create their best chance of the game when Browne gets clear on the left of the area.

His shot goes across goal, just out of reach of Simpson and Masri cracks the ball back and wide.


Hereford win another corner a minute late but it comes to nothing.


Oyibo lets fly from 30 yards on 28 minutes but his well-struck drive flashes straight at the keeper.


Hereford create an opening when Eubanks wins the ball on the edge of the area and pulls the ball back to Gilroy who blazes over.


Then skipper Ryan is cautioned after a foul on Yafai.


Banbury’s Westbrook is booked for kicking the ball away after Hereford win a free-kick.


Hereford win a corner on 17 minutes and Onyeike heads over.


Banbury have a chance from a long-range free-kick but make a complete hash of it and the ball ends up in the back of the Meadow End.


It’s a scrappy start with the play moving rapidly from end to end.

The pace of Javia Roberts, who is playing in a more advanced role tonight, is causing some problems for the Banbury defence.
