In injury-time, it’s almost a third for Barnet as Gambin’s effort clips the bar and goes over.


There’s a corner for the Bulls on 79 minutes. Artus again delivers and the ball is worked back across goal for Brown to volley high over.


Bush makes a complete hash of things as Gamblin nips  in and Collins has to clear off the line.
Then Mauro Vilhete sends  a shot flashing over the angle on 64 minutes.


Smith does well to force a corner on the right; Artus takes the kick but it comes to nothing.


A good interchange by Purdie and Bowen on the right threatens and James is beginning to get a hold in midfield.


Hereford make a promising start to the second half and there’s a free-kick wide-out taken by Artus.
But the ball again flicks off the head of Collins and behind.


excellent run by Sharp sees him get around the back of the defence to win another corner. The corner is overhit by Artus and flicks off the head of Bush for a throw.


Hereford are having a better passage of play and earn a corn on the left on 41 minutes. There’s a melee in the goalmouth but Smith is ruled offside as he gets in the final shot.


Purdie combines with James to work the ball through to Smith whose shot is well sytruck but straight at Jupp.


McDonald, who has evidently not recovered from his earlier blow has to leave the field on 35 minutes.
While Rob Purdie is waiting to come on, Crawford drills in a shot which draws a low save from Lloyd-Weston.


Barnet are still having the better of the play but there’s a lively piece of action from Bowen who cuts in and drives in a shot which is blocked.


On 22 minutes, it’s 2-0 with Marsh-Brown again the scorer, curling in a shot from the edge of the area.


A fierce drive by Marsh-Brown deflects out for Barnet’s first corner and it brings the first goal.
Marsh-Brown’s corner curves in direct at the far post despite Bowen’s effort to keep it out.


As the action continues to move from end to end, Bush’s free-kick  is headed goalwards by Smith but it’s an easy save for Jupp.


Barnet move forward on the counter and Harry Crawford fires high over.


Hereford win the first corner of the game on eight minutes. Artus takes the kick but McDonald can;t control the header and the ball goes wide.


Curtis Weston powers in a shot on four minutes which draws  a diving save from Lloyd-Weston.


In the first minute, there’s a stoppage when Lloyd-Weston charges off his line and catches Rod McDonald with his punch, leaving the centre-back prone.


HEREFORD’S new caretaker boss Pete Beadle gives Jarrod Bowen a debut against Barnet at The Hive.
Bowen is named in place of Dan Walker in one of two changes from the team which lost at Wrexham.
Frankie Artus returns after injury in place of Jamie Edge.
