Tamworth force a late corner after coming under pressure but the ball is cleared after a scramble in the goalmouth.
The temperature hots up on 69 minutes when Courtney gets a straight red when he piles into O’Keefe with a dangerous challenge.

Hereford take the lead on 51 minutes with a spectacular strike from Smith.
The striker picks the ball up just inside the Tamworth half and advances before smashing a 25-yarder past Belford into the top corner.
Hereford waste another good chance on 43 minutes when a neat move involving Rankine and Pilkington sets up a chance for Smith whose shot is well saved by Belford, who should have been given no chance.
On 38 minutes, a fortunate rebound sees Lloyd Kerry in the clear but Evans makes a good block save.
There’s a big scramble in the Bulls goalmouth before the ball is finally put behind for a corner.
A poor challenge by Artus on Duane Courtney brings a free-kick 30 yards out.

Rankine goes close again on 18 minutes, hooking the ball just wide as Sam Smith knocks down a left-wing cross.
Hereford start to pile on the pressure and Cameron Belford pulls off a superb save to deny Michael Rankine on 11 minutes with the big striker’s follow-up shot deflected out for a third Hereford corner.
