HEREFORD were able to announce an unchanged team for their first visit to Rodney Parade with skipper Luke Graham suffering no ill-effects following his return to action on Saturday.

Stefan Stam, who missed Saturday’s game due to the birth of his daughter, returned to the substitutes’ bench.

Tony James , for so long a favourite at Edgar Street , was included in the Newport defence.

Hereford: 4-4-2: Hanford; Gallinagh, Townsend, Graham, Carruthers; Watkins, Clist, Pell, Clucas; Canham, Nichols. Subs not used: Bittner, Stam, Sammons, Smikle, Bowman.

Newport: 4-3-3: Pidgeley; Pipe, Jaqmes, Yakubu, Sandell; Porter, Evans, Flynn; O’Connor, Louis, Crow. Subs not used: Hughes, Charles, Thomson, Harris, Perry.
