ONE Hereford fan flew in from Los Angeles for the Bull's first ever league game.

Jo Clements has been a supporter for more than 25 years and says she had to be at Edgar Street for the historic game.

"It was such a massive occasion I couldn't miss it, I had to be there," said Jo, who works for a news and photo agency in LA.

"I landed in London on Thursday and got to my mum and dad's in Kings Caple at about 9.30pm and was then at the ground on Friday helping to sell tickets.

"When I was back for a friend's wedding a couple of months ago, I came in and helped out with a few things in the office and then I went in on Friday helped out in selling tickets and anything else that needed doing.

"I can't help as much as I would like to but everyone else has been amazing by sweeping the stands, painting advertising boards etc, they've just been brilliant."

Jo works with a lot of British people who she says know all about Hereford.

"My boss is a Grimsby fan so he's very sympathetic to my football dedication," she said.

"But the Americans barely know where Hereford is and get very baffled when I talk to them about my football team."
