HEREFORD United return to FA Trophy action on Saturday when Mangotsfield Town are the visitors to Edgar Street for a second qualifying round tie.

The Bristol-based club play in the Evo-Stik South and South-West division, one step below Hereford and reached this stage with a 5-1 win over Bishops Cleeve in the first qualifying round.

Lewis Powell scored four times in that clash and has now scored 20 goals this season, including three hat-tricks.

Hereford manager Jon Taylor was thwarted in his efforts to have Mangotsfield watched last Saturday when their game at Bashley was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

"But it's more about how we play, anyway," he said.

Prize money of £3,250 is at stake in the tie as well as a place in the draw for the third qualifying when Conference North and South clubs join the competition for matches which are scheduled for November 29.

Hereford will hope to be able to include loan duo, Hereford-born midfielder Brad Williams and centre-back Joshua Yorweth, who have linked up with the Edgar Street club for a month from Cardiff City.
